For several months, I stressed myself trying to figure out how I could get out of a certain situation. After many sleepless nights, I finally let it go. I accepted that it was out of my hands. I told the Lord, “I trust You. Your will be done”.
The situation didn’t change, but my perspective changed. Instead of complaining about what was going wrong, I began to thank God for what was going right.
One day, without me doing anything, the source of my stress was removed. It worked out far better than anything I could have planned out.
At times, we can wear ourselves out trying to fix a problem that we have no control over.
In those situations, the best thing we can do is sometimes the hardest thing to do – GIVE it to God and REST!
I think we all know the answer to that question.
All the time we are trying to figure it out, He has already worked it out. We just have to wait for it to manifest in His perfect timing.
I challenge you to change your perspective on your situation. In our weakest moments we are the strongest, because in those moments we have no choice but to fully rely on God.
DO YOUR PART, and trust Him to do what you cannot do.
Is that hard to do? YES! Do I struggle with this at times? Absolutely!
But, one thing life has taught me is when I put my trust in Him, I’ve never been let down.
“For when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength]” 2 Corinthians 12:10.
Prayer: Lord, I confess that I tried to handle this situation my own. That only left me frustrated and tired. I’ve done all I know to do. Now, all I can do is stand still and trust you. On today, I choose to rely upon YOUR strength instead of MY own inadequate strength. I know what I would like to see happen, but I know you know what’s best for me. Lord I want YOUR will and not MY will to be done. Amen!
Have a blessed day!

Thank you for the kind words and for stopping by. I’m grateful you did because it led me to your blog. I don’t think I’ll every forget what you said about Surrendering! “Surrendering to God’s will is a get out of jail free ticket from fretting, worrying and self-entrapment”. Oh how I needed to hear this to FREE myself!
