Earlier this week, I picked up some books from an organization. While there, I briefly chatted with the employee helping me.
She mentioned that she loved the organization and how amazing the people are, but it was time for her to move on to something new. I found her response interesting because when I love something, it is hard for me to move on.
Sometimes because of sentimental reasons, fear of the unknown, or false loyalties, we stay in a place, in a relationship, on a job, etc., longer than needed. We have to know when it is time to move on.
This employee wasn’t leaving because things were bad, but because there was something better for her waiting on the other side.
“When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” Alexander Graham Bell
Do not allow anything to keep you in a “good” situation, when God has a “best” situation for you.
But forget ALL that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? Isaiah 43:18-19
I don’t know about you, but I know God is about to do something new in my life. In order to do it, there are some door knobs I am holding to that I have to let go of.
He’s not doing something new because of the new year, but because it’s my season and it’s my time. For many of you, it is YOUR season too! It’s YOUR time! (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
I look forward to seeing the things that He revealed to me, manifest here on this earth.
Let go of fear, false loyalties, sentimental reasons, or whatever it is, TRUST GOD and WALK INTO YOUR SEASON! IT’S TIME!
“I believe we’re in a time when God’s gonna bless the saints.
Those who have stayed, those who have prayed. He’s gonna fulfill the promise He made. For I heard the Spirit say, It’s your time.
The wait is over, walk into your season” Donald Lawrence
Have a blessed day and an awesome week!

I loved the part about not being held back to do something good when God has something better for you. I have a tendency to move on to new things after a while. I usually feel like my season is up and it’s time to move on. The feeling usually happens after I have completed the task I was challenged to do. This scripture will help me rest in the knowledge that in everything there is a season. Thank you!
