Life Is Like a Rollercoaster: Two Reasons You Should Not Worry

Life is a roller coaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump, or you can throw your hands up and enjoy the ride.

In September, I screamed EVERY time I hit a bump. At the end of EVERY situation, I screamed for nothing because EVERY time it worked out.

God didn’t promise me my life would be trouble free. He did promise me two things.

1. “He will never leave me, nor forsake me”.

Forsake means “to quit or leave entirely; abandon; desert; to give up or renounce”.

During the roughest moments of my life, God promised He would not quit, leave or abandon me. I can honestly say, He hasn’t!

2. “All things will work together for my good”.

When I look back over my life, there were things I did not understand at the time. However, I can honestly say it worked out for my good in the end.

So after this crazy month, I had to ask myself, Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? The answer is simple. NO.

It’s a new month. I will hit new bumps, but I purpose to keep these two promises in mind, throw my hands up, and just enjoy the ride.

Everything will be okay in the end.

If it’s not okay,

it’s not the end. John Lennon

I only listed two reasons, but there are more. Feel free to comment below and add to the list!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love that quote! And you are so right – when I think of all my roller coaster life moments that I thought were so insurmountable at the time, and yet I am still standing. Go with the flow and have faith – I have to try to remember that!
