“Whatever you’re doing inside of me, it feels like chaos but somehow there’s peace” Sanctus Real
If a principal, boss, doctor, etc., has ever called you to his or her office, you know the agonizing feeling of waiting to hear what he or she has to say.
Some of us are sitting in the lobby area of God’s office waiting for Him to call us in and tell us the outcome of a situation, the next steps to take, or the reasons behind our current circumstance.
As we wait, all the unknowns, what ifs and possible outcomes (whether good or bad) race through our minds.
Even with all the uncertainties, you can have an OVERWHELMING PEACE, not because everything is currently okay, but a peace that EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY!
Why? Because you have no reason to think differently. I gave you two reasons why here.
Receive and embrace whatever it is God is doing. It may feel like chaos right now, but there is PEACE (freedom from disturbance, calm, comfort, and rest) in knowing God is with you.
Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] John 14:27
People around you may not understand your peace, and that is okay. At times you may not understand yourself. When you don’t understand, TRUST God’s plan for your life!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. Pro 3:5-6
Prayer: God, I may not understand all that is going on, but I know that because You are with me, IT WILL BE OKAY. I may not understand what you are doing now, but one day I will. Until that day, I’LL TRUST YOU. When I get impatient, I’LL TRUST YOU. When I can’t figure it out, I’LL TRUST YOU. When I want to give up, I’LL TRUST YOU. Lord, I TRUST that this situation will work together for my good. God, give me a peace that surpasses my human understanding. A peace that will keep me calm even in the most difficult of times. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Thank you Missy! Your words just encouraged me. I pray that God grants your husband the peace to go through this storm. I wish I could say trials are easy, but they aren’t. I thank God that we can rest in knowing God will see us through. Please tell your husband the battle is not his, but it’s the Lord’s. It’s easier said than done, but tell him God can take care of this situation better than he ever could. Romans 8:28 All things work together for the good!
